Teachers Recruitment requriement

Minimum requirements to be considered for 844/2-6-3-2/IGCSE from Kindergarten to Advanced levels, teaching opportunities:

    1. Degree or diploma qualification

    2. Experience 2 years minimum

    3. Registration with TSC/International bodies

  1. FILL IN THE TEACHER'S RECRUITMENT FORM

Click on the link that will be provided below. Fill out some basic info about yourself, including education and work experiences, skills, and your passion for tutoring. As parents and students will be interested in you as well, your profile will carry your reputation and connect you to our world.

You’ll see tips and examples at each step of the registration process to help you fill in the information. When you complete registration, once a vacancy arises, our teacher recruitment team will review your profile and once your profile is approved, You will be invited for an interview.

2. GET INTERVIEWED

We are looking for passionate, driven, knowledgeable people to partner with us and put our students on the road to success. During the interviews, we want to confirm everything you have indicated on your profile. Our interviewers are friendly experienced tutors, who will also discuss possible areas of improvement.

Here is what our interviewers are looking for:

  • Knowledge of content in the given curriculum, teaching level, and subject content.

  • Outstanding communication skills, candidate attributes, and other characteristics

  • Work ethics, motivation & enthusiasm

3. GET TRAINED

We provide free training webinars that guide you throughout your tutoring journey.  Join a community of expert tutors who are always there for you. We will train you to Manage your classes and lesson plans, conduct virtual classes and use our online tools for assignment and report cards, among others


  1. START TUTORING

Start Tutoring at Elimu Plus. Once approved, we'll start sending students your way. 


For online classes, you will need a laptop or a desktop computer, a stable internet connection, a webcam, and a microphone for conducting the lessons.

For physical classes, we will allocate you with students who live around where you stay.

In addition to tutoring, you will be required to


  • Engage with your students and their parents

  • Help your students to realize their potential and dive into their abilities

  • Create content (Notes and revision questions) that can earn you money online​


  1. GET PAID

You focus on being a great tutor and let us handle students' payments and billing.

Your earnings depend on the amount students pay, the number of lessons you teach, and how many students continue learning with you.

We only charge a commission for the lessons that you have taught. The commission ranges from 30% to 50%

Elimu Plus takes a commission fee from your lessons to bring in more students from around the globe, develop an easy-to-use video tool, learning materials for your lessons pay office expenses, Elimu plus management working staff, and online expenses like zoom & website payment, etc.
